Chloe........ I'm probably one of the only people here that thinks Jack Johnson by Miles is one of the greatest albums made. It's fusion, but still damn good. I'll listen to almost anything by him. Except "On the Corner". I never liked that one.

Charles Mingus....... Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. It doesn't get much better than that.

Coltrane. You name it........ it's all brilliant.

Eric Dolphy...... Iron Man..... out there, but genius.

Duke Ellington........... well, it's Duke Ellington. Just elegant........ and he had Johnny Hodges in the group.

Charlie Parker....... that saxaphone looked so little in his hands. The "yardbird" brought jazz into the modern era.

Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonius Monk, Jack DeJohnette, Horace Silver, Bill Evans................ yadda yadda and so forth [img]smile.gif[/img]
